Child trafficking is a major social problem in India. The statistics are staggering and a major cause for concern. For example, about 1 Lakh children go missing every year of which 45% are never traced. The problem takes international hues with 20% of the children are trafficked across the Bangladesh and Nepal border. .
Automated learning environments driven by cognitive computing is applicable to a variety of application domains. But they are especially attractive to domains that are still emerging and do not have highly curated models for training. They are also effective for learners in professional environments who may not be able to provide dedicated time commitments for conventional classroom education. The underlying semantic infrastructures like a knowledge graph and competency maps enable balancing between teacher-driven learning, independent learning, and social learning.
